- Membership Eligibility
By registering for the myBalance Community, you confirm that:
● You hold a valid Australian physiotherapy license or appropriate professional qualifications if based outside Australia.
● You will use the platform solely for professional and educational purposes. - Privacy & Patient Confidentiality
● You must obtain explicit patient consent before uploading any videos, images, or case details.
● If consent is not obtained, you must de-identify patient information to maintain privacy (e.g., blurring faces, removing personal details).
● You are responsible for complying with privacy laws relevant to your location, including but not limited to the Australian Privacy Act 1988. - Content Ownership & Moderation
● Any content you upload (videos, posts, comments) remains your intellectual property.
● myBalance administrators and moderators reserve the right to remove content at any time if deemed inappropriate, unethical, or in violation of these terms.
● You may request to have your content removed, and myBalance will endeavor to do so within a reasonable timeframe. - Professional Conduct
● You agree to engage respectfully with other members and maintain a professional tone in discussions.
● The platform is intended for knowledge sharing, professional support, and education—not for advertising or promoting personal services.
● Any medical advice shared is for educational purposes only and should not replace individual clinical judgment. - Liability Disclaimer
● myBalance does not provide medical advice and is not liable for any clinical decisions, actions, or outcomes based on discussions within the community.
● You acknowledge that any reliance on shared content is at your own professional discretion.
● myBalance is not responsible for any data loss, service interruptions, or third-party actions affecting the platform. - Account Security & Termination
● You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and ensuring that login details remain confidential.
● myBalance may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms and Conditions. - Changes to Terms & Conditions
